Our beautiful friend/sister/daughter was driving home one night when a drunk driver, driving the wrong way on the freeway, struck her car head-on. The intoxicated driver walked away, uninjured, while Shirley lay trapped in her car - broken and unconscious - it took the fire dept nearly an hour to cut her out of her demolished car... Now Shirley waits at a charitable nursing home while the legal system goes through a long and drawn out process...and as precious time is wasted, her chance for the fullest recovery passes by...
